Press Show me around for a guided walkthrough. Updated October 6, 2026 BePrepared has four products, each with its own group in the left sidebar. BeAware watches your area, BeReady builds your household plan, BeEquipped offers kits, and BeAdvised books time with an expert. Home is where you start. On a computer, the **?** button opens help, and Cmd or Ctrl + K searches it. ## What are the four products? They are BeAware, BeReady, BeEquipped, and BeAdvised. Its pages are Monitoring, Baseline Report, Alert Settings, Alert Pulse, and ZIP Risk Check. - **BeReady** turns your household details into a plan you can actually follow. Its pages are My Plans, Drill, Learn, and Skills Tracker. My Tribe appears when that feature is available, and My Supplies appears once you have a supply list. - **BeEquipped** is the kit store, with kits matched to your plan. Its pages are Browse Kits and Cart. - **BeAdvised** connects you with a preparedness expert when you want a hand. Its pages are Book a Session and My Bookings. Two more entries sit in the sidebar. **BePrepared Advisor** answers questions about your plan, your locations, and current conditions, and what it can do depends on your plan. **BeConnected** is marked Soon: a way to stay connected with family and neighbors during an emergency, still being built. A product you have not added yet still shows in the sidebar with a lock, so you can see everything BePrepared does. Selecting a locked page takes you to pricing to add that product. Alert Pulse and ZIP Risk Check stay open to everyone, with or without BeAware. **Home** sits above the groups. It shows how protected you are and what to do next, such as finishing your address or building your first plan. ## Where did the sidebar go? It tucks itself away to give the page the full screen. Move your mouse to the left edge of the window and it slides back out. To keep it open all the time, click the pin icon in the sidebar. Click it again to let the sidebar tuck away. - Each product's heading folds open and closed, so you can collapse the groups you rarely use. - Press **\[** on your keyboard to show or hide the sidebar. - Press **G**, then a letter, to jump to a section: **H** for Home, **A** for BeAware, **R** for BeReady, **E** for BeEquipped, or **D** for BeAdvised. On a phone, a bar along the bottom of the screen takes the sidebar's place. **More** opens everything else, including **Help & FAQ**. Choose **Customize this menu** in that sheet to pick which pages sit on the bar. Home always stays first. ## How do I get help without leaving the page? On a computer, click the **?** button at the top right of the screen, or press **?** on your keyboard. The menu holds: - **Show me around**, which replays the guided tour of the sidebar. The button at the top of this article starts the same tour. - **BeAware dashboard tour**, a walkthrough of the monitoring dashboard. - **Search help**, also opened from anywhere with **Cmd or Ctrl + K**. - **Browse Help Center**, the full list of guides, which also lives at [the Help Center](https://staging.bepreparedsolutions.co/help). - **Feedback**, to tell us what is working or not. - **Help with this page**, guides picked for the screen you are on, when there are any. - A short list of keyboard shortcuts, and **Enable keyboard shortcuts** to turn off the single-key shortcuts (**?**, **\[** and the **G** jumps) if they get in your way. An open plan in BeReady has its own help and shortcuts, so the **?** button steps aside on that screen. On a phone, use **Help & FAQ** in the **More** sheet. ## Your first few minutes in BePrepared Start on Home. Until you save your first and last name there, Home shows only the name card and every other sidebar page stays locked. Then add your address on Home, and open BeReady to [build your first plan](https://staging.bepreparedsolutions.co/help/beready/plan-wizard).
