The idea
The Statements page is your money record: one card per month, newest first. Each card shows what your referrals generated that month and what your share came to. Months are calendar months in US Eastern time, so a payment late on the last night of a month stays in that month's statement.
Open or final
Each month is in one of two states:
- Open, still accruing. The month is still collecting activity. Numbers can move as payments, refunds, and late-arriving commissions land.
- Final, statement sent. Once your statement for a month has been sent, that month is frozen and will not change. Reconcile it once and it stays reconciled.
A final month shows its payment due date. Payment is due within 30 days of month end.
The numbers on a card
- Your share is the headline figure: what you earned for the month, net of any reversals.
- Revenue received is the base your share was calculated from: money we actually received from your referrals that month, after taxes and payment processing fees.
- Paid to you appears when a cash payment went out during that month.
If you received an advance, months during recoupment will show earnings without a matching payment; those earnings are applying against the advance. Your dashboard's standing card shows the running position.
Revenue categories
Each card breaks revenue into the streams that produced it:
- Subscriptions. Recurring plan payments from your referrals.
- BeAdvised sessions. Expert consultation bookings.
- Printed plans. Printed and mailed plan orders.
- BeEquipped / Amazon. Commissions from gear purchased through the kit store. Amazon reports and pays these on its own schedule, roughly 60 days after the order ships. Each Amazon line is recorded in the month Amazon pays it, not the month of the original order, so these lines appear about two months behind the others and a final month never changes after the fact.
- Ad insertion. Revenue from sponsored placements, where applicable.
A month with earnings but no category rows got its amount from adjustments rather than categorized revenue.
Download the detail
Every month has a Download CSV link with the line-level detail behind the card. Use it for bookkeeping, or to hand your accountant an exact record. If a number on a card surprises you, the CSV is the first place to look, and your BePrepared representative is the second.
